A 25-year broadcasting veteran, Bob began his career in 1980 as a part-timer at WRKL in Rockland County, NY. After attending Announcer Training Studios in New York, he spent the mid-80s at stations in Virginia, West Virginia and Indiana. Over the last 20 years he has worked primarily on a freelance basis, covering sports locally on radio and cable. Bob is the resident soccer maven at GHT, and has done soccer play-by-play at all levels from high school to MLS.
Bob has a degree in engineering from Stevens Tech, but sportscasting has been his dream since the age of six. He lives in his hometown of Clifton and follows the Mets, Giants and Buffalo Sabres.
Radio is not just his profession, but pastime as well. He is an active amateur radio operator (N2SU) and participates in many areas of the hobby.
