After 11 years at Stop & Shop (formerly Foodtown) supermarkets, Korbid knew that he needed a change. So, once he quit his job, off he went to the Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting, at which he graduated in 2003.

Korbid then landed a spot at WSUS shortly after graduation, and hopped aboard WGHT as a sports reporter in 2004. Most recently, the North Brunswick resident took over the Front Row Sports duties on Saturday mornings during the high school sports season.

Korbid also has a ceriticate in freelance writing, as well as an online pro wrestling column since 1998.
