Cindy Weightman joined WGHT in 2007 after a stint as a traffic reporter in Boston. Always a Jersey girl...one year away from home was just too long. Cindy began her career as a weekend news anchor at WSUS in Franklin eventually moving on to anchoring the traffic there and in the Hudson Valley. Her reports have been heard on several stations including WRNQ in Poughkeepsie and WBWZ in New Paltz. Cindy is still heard doing the traffic on stations in NYC but her true love is news and local radio on GHT and in 2009 she was recognized for her efforts with a 1st place award from the Garden State Journalists Association. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys reading, shopping, eating out and spending time with her family and friends. |
